For this project we worked in partnership with Enersol Flomar and were pleased to be awarded the contract for upgrading the plant pipes and fittings to SCH40 stainless steel. Enersol Flomar specified the pipe work design and steam flow calculations, including flow characteristics for new steam control valves. We purchased the control valves, piston stop valves and steam trap sets from Enersol Flomar and worked in partnership to commission the new system.
The plant is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so it was imperative that during the upgrade disruption was kept to a minimum. JWCI were able to work efficiently under these circumstances to replace pipe work and equipment quickly, with little interruption and to time and budget.
New SCH40 Stainless Steel was used to replace existing Carbon Steel throughout the plant as required. This gave all new pipework a guaranteed lifespan of 10 years, a vast improvement on the 2-3 years of previous fittings.
“JWCI provided a first-class service and quality of workmanship. They were very informative, worked through the project and completed the installation with very little disturbance to engineering and production. Very professional. “
The project included selecting the right components, customised pipe work and bespoke fabrications, all measured, manufactured, and installed by our expert engineers, welders and fitters with work at the site continuing throughout the factory.
