Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification
We are pleased to be able to share our fantastic training facilities to offer contractor training days delivered by JWCI Head of Operations & Compliance John Berrisford BA, Dip.RSA, MIFireE, CFIOSH, FIIRSM – NUCO approved instructor, qualified to FREC 3 level with 35 years of emergency response experience.
This qualification will equip attendees with the essential knowledge and confidence to administer First Aid effectively. It is ideal for individuals wishing to become certified Emergency First Aiders.
The course not only meets the safety standards recommended by the HSE but is also a fully regulated qualification. Training covers a comprehensive range of emergency scenarios, ensuring that on completion, delegates will have the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to respond appropriately.

The course covers the following elements:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Be able to assess an emergency situation safely
- Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
- Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
- Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries.
